The
best way for policymakers in Texas and elsewhere
to expand
access to a high - quality
education for all
children is
to give
education providers the freedom
to innovate and
to give parents and students the freedom
to choose the
education providers that work
best for them.

children, funding all schools so they can
better serve those with special educational needs,

children in all schools, and a national curriculum that insists that schools focus on the whole
child rather than narrow academic achievement.

education should be expanding and diversifying educational options so all

best suits him or her, not homogenizing schools.
