When you look at all the Rumours of Chelsea, Utd, City, PSG and even a MegaBuck offer from

China.

One of the most important
things that we've
done with ECHOPLEX is to localise the game for
China.
This animation, The Last Post, first created for the exhibition By Day, By Night, or Some (Special)
Things a Museum Can
Do at the Rockbund Art Museum (Shanghai) in 2010, is inspired by Sikander's ongoing interest in the colonial history of the sub-continent and the British opium trade
with China.
At which point I stop caring since we're either screwed from AGW or we're not becuase GW isn't AGW, most governments are trying to reduce CO2 emissions (see AP6 which includes
China and India unlike Kyoto) and I have better
things to
do with my time.
I've come to believe that by
doing the
things we're
doing in
China, developing technologies,
doing pilots
with startup companies, we're going to
do more to achieve that (carbon reduction) objective than most utilities.
I didn't claim that they'd made claims «that are obviously at variance
with mainstream science» — I claimed that for every loony right wing quote you could find (in your case focussing on anti-science) I could find quotes from leading leading leftys that are equally loony on other topics — I specifically mentioned global trade, because Brown and Milne have made some particularly silly and non-mainstream comments about
things like the US FTA, trade
with Japan (in a whaling context) or trade
with China (in a human rights context).
The Keystone XL Pipeline will give America energy independence, if there is ever a war in the Middle East our oil supply could be cut off, and
with the XL we won't have that problem, 42,000 jobs will be created, 2 Billion paid to workers will give our treasury a boost, if we don't get approval Canada will sell the oil to
China, they are our trading partners and our enemy, the pipeline will be a good
thing for Americans, lower prices at the gas pump, and jobs for growth where as of now, we are not growing like we have in the past, just a few are against this but we have Millions of Americans who want it and they are more important than the few.
President Obama has been saying and
doing all the right
things when it comes to climate change lately, penning a greenhouse gas reduction deal
with China and his Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposing new regulations for coal plants that would see sharp reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
For example, taking some time periods
with roughly constant slope, we have (slope x 1000 for easy reading): 1900 — 34: 1000 * slope = 1.23 / year (note CO2ref
does not affect the slope) 1935 — 49: 1000 * slope = 0.114 / year (Depression, WWII etc) 1950 — 58: 1000 * slope = 1.67 / year (recovery stage 1) 1959 — 75: 1000 * slope = 2.92 / year (now
things are moving) 1976 — 94: 1000 * slope = 4.36 / year (more and more growth) 1995 — 2011: 1000 * slope = 5.11 / year (
China kicks in?)
The second piece is that we've actually built in, to our technology, the ability — it's almost like an automated fraud detector, and my partner, Mark, had to deal
with this issue back at Rent.com, in terms of the property management stuff, so he's got experience in building this piece — but the basic idea is that we have a baseline from where our company is starting from, based on those published attributes, and if that changes dramatically, or if
things start to disappear because they're getting negative attributes, say because it's made in
China, and then they pull that off, that'll actually get a worse score if they don't publish the source of where it's made vs. if they publish that it's made in
China or made internationally.
And if
China's state - owned oil companies and government officials
do not fully appreciate the value of good governance or environmental protection in partner countries — after all, these are areas
with which
China itself is still struggling — there are signs it may be serious about one
thing: reputation.
«When you talk to different people about
doing business in
China I would say the three
things they are most concerned about are: involvement
with local partners, how
do I get my profits out of the country once I'm there, and how

China have nothing to

things.

China in an effort to
do a better job at competing
with its domestic rivals like Huawei and OPPO and is hoping to turn
things around during the next fiscal year that's starting in April.
As smartphone brands go, OUKITEL is one smaller brand in a sea of brands just like it coming out of
China, but one
thing it
does tend to have going for it is the wider selection of devices that come
with larger batteries.
I doubt you recall this but on one of your very first posts about adoption — I think it was when you were asking «how
do you know it's right» type of
thing, I said you've got to pay attention to the signs, and then went on to talk about some weird stuff that happened to us during my adoption journey (my daughters were born in
China, and after turning in the paperwork for my first daughter, I began to run into single mom's
with Chinese children EVERYWHERE).
