I used pumpkin liquor instead of bourbon, 1 cup regular flour and 1/2 cup coconut flour, added 1/4 cup of

For Tasting Table's take
on a classic
chocolate cake, we created a dessert loaded with such flavor enhancers as cardamom, pomegranate molasses, espresso and dark
brown sugar.
I had my wisdom teeth removed like 4 days ago, and am finally lucid enough to cook... instead of continuing to live
on jello and store bought
chocolate pudding... so i turned some leftover already cooked
brown rice (about 2 - 3 cups) into this genius concoction.
Then I looked at the recipe
on the back of the Rice Krispies box and thought that if we were bothering to melt the butter we might as well keep melting to
brown it to create a richer, toasted flavor, similar to my Perfect
Chocolate Chip Cookies.
I will have to try the cornflake version of that, that i saw someone else mention o.O... I usually like savory dishes (and did love the recipe that we're all posting under), but I invented (or at least i haven't seen it anywhere else) a sweet version with butter fried spaetzli (to golden
brown) topped with a butter - rosemary (dried)- (very) dark
chocolate sauce, baked with a bit of sprinkled sugar
on top till the sugar crystalizes.

Place butter, sugar,

on low heat, stirring until everything is well blended (mixture does not have to be smooth).
Pour several tablespoonfuls of the pancake mixture onto the griddle (you can top with fruit or

Upon drying they take
