I had many late - night
chocolate cravings during my last pregnancy.

I have never been a huge
chocolate lover (gasp), but
during my pregnancy the only
craving I had was
chocolate.
What I will say is that they are hard to resist and I often find myself sneaking a spoonful or two
during the day when a
chocolate craving hits.
During my afternoon slump, where I particularly
craved something sweet, I simply made a cup of hot
chocolate with my cacao powder, hot milk or dairy substitute (I think rice milk tastes best) and little bit of sweetener and seemed to feel satisfied.
All the
cravings for those
chocolate cakes and ghee - laden sweets
during pregnancy are now seen in your body weight and you surely wish.
For example, cacao is exceptionally high in iron and magnesium (justifying those
chocolate cravings that tend to creep up
during «that time of the month!»).
He drinks green smoothies especially
during the days when he
craves for
chocolate.
Increased insulin leads to sugar
cravings, and this is why lots of women
crave chocolate during PMS (and at other times too!).
Additionally, magnesium levels lower
during the pre-menstrual weeks of your period, which explains why PMS so often comes with

craved during times of stress.
I never had much trouble with
cravings, they seemed to disappear right away, except for
chocolate during hormone episodes.
However past 8 months, I am giving in to
chocolate cravings and have put more than seven kilos
during this time and I don't know why but I lost my willpower to resist tee
cravings.
The weather has slightly cooled down (sure, it may still be in the 90s
during the day but the early mornings are a bit chilly) and I am
craving cozy fall clothes and hot
chocolate!
