Chocolate Date Balls (Cake Whiz)-- This dessert healthy recipe for picky eaters also goes by the name «energy
balls».
These no - bake
balls combine pumpkin seeds,
dates, cacao powder, mini
chocolate chips and cinnamon.
I have made the protein
balls before with
dates, it never occurred to me to dip them in a
chocolate coating.
You can totally skip the
chocolate coating in these crispy rice
date and cashew bars or roll them into
balls.
To finish this delicious
chocolate cake, in a food processor blend 1/2 cup of pistachios, reserve around 3 tbsp for toppings and mix the rest with the 4 pitted
dates to make the pistachio
balls.

I decided I'd pair them together in these bites for a
chocolate - hazelnut - fig - and -
date kind of
ball thing.
In Tofino, B.C., I filled up on raw almonds, giant medjool
dates, and a little brown paper sack of
chocolate - coconut energy
balls at Green Soul Organics, which sustained me through two long shoot days and a return flight.
Add cooled toasted coconut,
dates, brown rice syrup, chia seeds, almond butter and
chocolate chips into the base of a food processor and process until fully combined and starting to form a
ball of dough.
Especially when it's combined with
dates, oats, pumpkin seeds, pecans, and lots of dark
chocolate, and then rolled into adorable bite - size
balls.
Examples: almond butter with some honey or agave on celery, almond butter with honey and coconut made into candy
balls (could add «raw»
chocolate if you eat that), avocado mixed with soaked
dates or honey and
chocolate powder (greated
