I never would have considered using pak
choi in this dish, but I can totally see how it would work.
I hadn't had bok
choi in a long time, so I picked up a small bag for $ 1, and the noodles were on sale: $ 1.99 for 3 pounds of rice noodles!

I used a head of chopped bok
choi to add some of that bulk back
in.
Slice the pack
choi into quarters, then coat
in the miso mix and place on the griddle pan until slightly charred.
OK, here are some favorites we've been cooking up at my place: - vegetable curry (grind my own whole spices, use whatever veggies we get
in our weekly CSA share; radishes / beets, eggplant, squash, greens, etc)- quick kale (sauteed with coconut oil, chili flakes, garlic, [lemon grass], soy sauce, lemon juice)- pac
choi w / sauteed mushrooms «chinese» style (with fish sauce, rice wine vinegar, jalepeno / chili, soy sauce, etc)- roasted radishes w / poached eggs - «teamwork pasta» — this is your recipe for pepper and cheese pasta, but it helps having two sets of hands to make it
in our house... we put an egg on this too of course - tuna pasta (chopped onion, garlic, lemon zest, chili flakes, tuna, olives — easily adaptable to what you already have
in the house and like)- roast chicken on friday - roasted sweet potatoes - omlets - challa french toast
My current favourite veg is pak
choi — whatever other veg I'm stir frying, I'll add a whole pak
choi for each of us at the end of the cooking time, steam it over the rice or noodles until soft and then quickly toss it
in the pan
in hot sesame oil and garlic.
You might also want to try swiss chard, bok choy / pak
choi or parsely
in your smoothies.

Make sure around half of every plate of food you eat is comprised of non-starchy vegetables, especially cruciferous ones from the cabbage family such as broccoli, kale, pak
choi or bok
choi that are rich
in compounds that help our liver's to detox.
You put pork, Pak -
choi, carrots and radish
in it too.
