I made these today but had to substitute a few ingredients as I didn't have everything — I used
dried prunes instead of
dates,
chopped almonds and hazelnuts instead of the sunflower seeds and vegetable oil instead of coconut oil.
I used canned great northerns and subbed

dried blueberries for raisins, and
chopped walnuts for the pumpkin seeds.

dry, make sure you're using a food processor rather than a blender as a blender really needs a liquid in order to work!
I buy nuts already ground /
chopped, seeds can be crushed in a pestle and mortar, and with
dates (or other
dried fruit) they can be
chopped small, gently heated in a pan with a splash of water, and then they're soft enough for a stick blender!
I usually add a cup of
dried fruit, such as raisins, or
