I meal prep each week mostly by just
chopping up carrots for lunches at work.
Since I wasn't sure if sweet potatoes could double as a veggie and a carb,
I chopped up some carrots on the side to make sure I fulfilled the challenge requirements.
While the lamb is simmering,
chop up some carrots, potatoes and a turnip and then add to the stew and cook an additional 20 minutes.
I only had canned tomatoes on hand and decided to add
some chopped up carrots for some extra veg.
I also
chopped up some carrots and celery.
Chop up your carrot sticks and stick»em in water for easy snacking.
This yummy walnut feta dip pairs well with mixed veggies, so throw
some chopped up carrots, peppers, celery, and broccoli in a zip - lock bag and you'll be set to manage the munchies in style.
For our soup
we chopped up the carrots, celery, sweet potato, and green beans, and placed them into our pot.
You don't need to use high calorie treats, tiny pieces of liver treat,
chopped up carrot (put it in the bag with the liver treats, so it's a bit «seasoned»), small pieces of BBQ chicken, or if your dog is overweight, just use regular dry food throughout the day.
Tip:
Chopped up carrots make excellent treats for scent work games and training.

While my potato was in the oven, I
chopped up my broccoli and
carrots and steamed them to make them softer.
Peel and roughly
chop the butternut squash and
carrots, and de-seed and
chop the pepper, slice
up the courgettes.

So I skimped on the
carrots (so we'd have a few left to last us the week) and then tossed in a peeled and
chopped sweet potato that was ready to be used
up.
I
chopped the
carrots using my food processor, which definitely helped speed things
up.
She cooked
up some chicken with a caribbean jerk rub, then topped the rice with the juicy chicken, along with sliced red peppers, shredded
carrots and
chopped scallions.
I had no particular plan for the
carrots, but I knew exactly what I'd do with the greens:
chop them
up and sprinkle them all over this dish.
-- Try out some other vegetables — such as cauliflower or broccoli
chopped up small — potatoes,
carrot, or try out tempeh instead of tofu.
Add
chopped up celery,
carrots, zucchini, garlic, and onion; Next, add basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and broth.
To compensate, I ended
up adding 3 large
carrots (
chopped) and throwing in other assorted veggies I had around: an onion, some leek, a yellow bell pepper, a couple leftover baked potatoes — even some of the leftover aforementioned breakfast omelet.
Actually, I only had about 8 oz of
carrots, so I
chopped up a bunch of spinach and threw that in.
Be sure cabbage and
carrots are
chopped up into very fine pieces (about the size of rice).
I think this combo of veggies are a winner, but feel free to add in onions or
carrots or
chopped up spinach or kale to make your omelette more «you».
I've tried
chopping them
up and tossing them into salads, but I find the
carrot tops to be too prickly.
Added a bit of
chopped parsnips and some
carrots that I had to use
up, but otherwise kept pretty close to the recipe.

However, they tasted wonderful - and as I had made some of the coconut frosting for a
carrot cake, I put a little on top of one of the spread out and flat cookies, sprinkled a little
chopped candied ginger on top and rolled it
up into a tube - it was absolutely delicious!
I
chop them
up and use them in recipes like
carrot soup, onigiri rice balls, and sometimes I even purée them into hummus.
Since this recipe called for stock I whipped
up a quick one: 10 cups of water, 3 large
chopped carrots, a strip of kombu, a few dried shitakes, a few
chopped stalks celery plus all the leaves from a bunch, lots of bay leaves (because I was leaving out the Old Bay:)-RRB- and simmered it for 2 to 3 hours before straining.
We always used a jarred sauce (whole foods roasted veggie, or any brand four cheese is a good bet, and occasionally an arrabiatta if we're feeling ambitious and spicy) but the kicker is to
chop up fresh veggies and saute first: zucchini, peppers,
carrots, celery even — and then pour the sauce over it to heat it
up.
I had used mild italian pork sausage, fresh fennel (sauteed with the onions &
carrots) and also
chopped up the steams and added with the sauteed veggies (I'm not sure they say throw these out).
Chop up your leeks and
carrots.
To the final soup, I included some
chopped carrots and celery with the onion and garlic and ended
up using a large can of san marzano tomatoes which I crushed and cooked down as directed.
This one does not
chop up the frozen strawberries and frozen bananas - nor baby
carrots.
Make sure you
chop the
carrots up in small if you want to cook this really quickly.
I let this all boil and reduce as I defrosted frozen spinach, julienned my last
carrot, and
chopped up a few roasted peanuts I'd been keeping in my freezer.
One of my easiest go - to meals is a Salmon and Avocado salad... 1 can of salmon, 1/2 an avocado,
chopped celery and
carrots, shredded cabbage if I have it, salt, crushed red pepper and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar... stir it
up and you're good to go... it nice and portable too!
Perfect to
chop and shred fresh
carrots, whip
up a smoothie or blend a
carrot soup.
INGREDIENTS 250g firm tofu 500g daikon or zucchini or
carrot (you can use regular noodles as well if, use soba or rice noodles for a gluten free meal) 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup or honey 2 tbsp tamari or shoyu sauce 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil 1 tsp shichimi togarashi or other chilli flakes 150 g romaine lettuce, shredded 4 scallions, thinly sliced 2 avocados 2 handfuls coriander,
chopped 2 handfuls beansprouts 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds salt to taste PEANUT DRESSING 100 ml natural peanut butter 2 - 4 tbsp tamari soy (use 2 tbsp for a milder sauce - and
up to 4 tbsp for a stronger punch) 2 - 4 tbsp fresh lime juice (use 2 tbsp for a milder sauce - and
up to 4 tbsp for a stronger punch) 2 tbsp rape seed oil 1/2 -1 tbsp fresh ginger grated (use 1/2 tbsp for a milder sauce and 1 for a stronger punch) 2 tbsp palm sugar or brown sugar water to thin
Peel and
chop up potatoes and
carrots.
While they're roasting,
chop up 3
carrots, 3 celery shoots, 1 tbsp of fresh basil and 1 onion.
browned them
up a bit before adding some kale,
carrots, chickpeas,
chopped tomatoes and orzo and let it all simmer
up into a big batch of healthy, heartwarming goodness.
2 cups cut

If you can't find an Asian Slaw mix like I can at Wegman's and don't want to shred your own you can use a bag of coleslaw mix with shredded napa cabbage and
carrots and then just
chop up a rib of celery.
Chop up some veggies like red pepper strips, green onions, cilantro and
carrots (I usually use the already julienned ones from the market).
I used your recipe as a springboard today to use the vegetables I had (
carrots and onion, but no mushrooms or spinach — instead, I used frozen broccoli and cauliflower
chopped up in a food processor and then with the water squeezed out).
When you are ready to cook the soup,

i have adjusted it a little: — 2 stalks of celery — 1
carrot — 1 zucchini — 1/2 broccoli — power boiled black eyed beans with a powdered shitake «stock» i got from thailand — 1 sprig of the following: fresh oregano, thyme and rosemary (took the rosemary out after the onion had browned but left the rest in)-- 2 fresh bay leaves dried over time (they just do not compare to the packaged ones) and i will
chop up kale and add just at the end, and also make some kale chips to sprinkle on top.
salad isn't just plain lettuce with some
chopped up cucumber, tomatoes, or
carrots — salad can be much more than this.
Sometimes I throw a little meat in with hubster's lunches because if we are being honest, it makes things a little quicker - like literally purchase some chicken sausages and cut them
up,
chop a heck ton of potatoes,
carrots, and green beans, roast those suckers
up and boom - hearty, filling lunch for hub for the whole week!
