These points programs have dozens of
airline and /
or hotel partners, which give you the ability to
choose where to move your points when you're ready to use them.
Or if you've amassed a large cache of
hotel points you don't plan to use, consider transferring them to your
chosen airline.
Most
hotel programs make you
choose to earn either
hotel points
or airline miles, but you can't earn both at the same time.

or because of its earning potential.
I suggest
choosing your loyalty program first — according to the
airline or hotel group that fits your needs — and then finding the best credit card connected to it.

Hotel when paying at non-discounted

or four digit CVV code; amount of charges for stays at properties; products and services received; reviews and opinions about our properties (if they are identified
or associated with you); frequent flyer
or travel partner program affiliation and member number;
hotel and
airline packages booked; groups with which you are associated for stays at
hotels; information needed to provide products
or services
or administer the Loyalty Program, including transaction and correspondence details; information provided on membership and account applications; information maintained in individual customer profiles; and other types of information that you
choose to provide to us.
American Express Membership Rewards points are more valuable than the average rewards point, for a variety of reasons: The points are fairly flexible, with no expiration dates
or blackout dates to worry about, you have a plethora of redemption options to
choose from, plus American Express has a large list of
airline and
hotel partners that you can transfer points to at a good value.
Should you
choose to book the itinerary Booking Guru suggests, the client is responsible for paying any taxes
or other fees due to the
airline,
hotel or 3rd party.
With that type of card, you're not locked into one
airline, so you can
choose the best deal available and then use your miles to rent a car
or book a
hotel as well.
