Regarding the Church and its self - understanding, the question is no longer simply when and by what authority the Church (as distinct from the individual
Christian) should take a
stance on ethical
issues.
So, are you saying the over 4,000,000 Lutheran ECLA members plus the multitudes of members from Church of Christ, select sects from Unitarian & Episcopals are not
Christians because of their drastically different
stance on this
issue?
