In this emergent electronic era, the most advanced and powerful communication now takes place through media which
the church as the interpreter of the revelation of God has not mastered.

If the parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25:1 - 13) is eschatological — referring to the last days,
as many Bible
interpreters believe — we can easily see what our Lord would say about today's
Church.
Second, what kind of structure of the
church will facilitate such dialogue and struggle which will at the same time strengthen the central elements of the
church's being
as the sacramental sign and
interpreter of God's universal gift of salvation in Christ?
Further, in presenting his interpretation of Matthew 16 and John 20, he merely illustrates the Protestant dilemma of a lack of common faith and practice resulting from each Christian interpreting Scripture
as he will in the absence of a divinely sanctioned
