Now liberals HATE CHARITIES... ya know... if you go to a
church's
food bank for
food or to have your electric bill paid they don't ask you to produce ID, Last pay stub, and all your credit information... they just give you
food or they pay a utility bill for you... that is a charity.
You can't do just a few token deeds through your
Church like we support some missions or this
food bank, etc, things that make you look good, and give you reason to spout off about easily, but are not really much of a personal sacrifice.
I have fallen away from the
church though the older I get the more I realize that any organized religion freaks me out, but here is the thing there are lots of homeless shelters and hot
food banks that run off
churches so they do some good for the community.
It doesn't necessarily mean that a person is saved just because they quote Scripture, attend
church, tithe, and raise their hands when singing praises to God, attend a Bible study, prays for an hour every day, teaches a Sunday school class and volunteers at the
food bank.
