In my experience, most
church leaders see that as a threat.
As business / charitable activities has led me into relationships with the Eastern Orthodox Church, Father P ***, Bish S **** introduced as Father («call no man father») as well as
church leaders I see very ill informed laiety (some exceptions), with a biblical worldview supplanted by a cultural denominational world view.The concept of Grace is overwhelmed by works, sacraments, membership.
Over the past couple years I have been very encouraged by the fact that many
church leaders see orphan care not as a missional add - on but as a vital aspect of what the church is to be and do missionally.
