I made a couple of changes: Added a little
cinnamon / sugar mix to the apples, for the
topping I substituted 1/2 cup of
rolled oats for 1/2 cup of flour and added about 1/3 cup roasted, chopped pecans.

Topped with pepitas and walnut pieces
Or a chocolate chip cough dough or blueberry cheese cake, but I have
cinnamon roll flavor on the
top of the list.
Brush the
tops of the muffins with butter, then
roll muffins in
cinnamon sugar mixture.
Using a large cookie scoop (about 2 tbsp sized), scoop the cookies not the palm of your hand and
roll the
tops in the
cinnamon - suagr mixture.
