circle pad pro (got ta get one if you really wan na spend HRS in it)-- but — i just cant sit there
for 500 hrs — staring and and un-ergonomically grasping the 3ds — a shame really (after about 140 hrs i just had to leave it be)-- i just ai nt interested in X — i cant go back to 3ds

for me.
While the game is compatible with the
circle pad pro, it isn't
for dual analog control.
The same goes
for the dual
circle pad, a feature that Miyomoto was adamant that it wasn't necessary, is now coming six months after launch as a clunky add - on.
The

They overpriced it
for the desired market, did not fully do their homework on parts of it (like the 2nd
circle pad) and probably did not have their game lineup where they wanted it.
Well, I've been looking at this
for some time, and it is reasonable that nintendo adopted
circle pads so that your fingaers are at the same level as the buttons and can easily reach the touchscreen.
Make the most out of the unique touch panel and
circle pad controls, as well as the 3DS internal gyroscope as you tilt, blow, shout, tap and more to compete
for the coveted gold medal
They should include covers
for the
circle pads that add the extra height of control sticks
for those that want it.
Dragon Quest 11 on 3DS, meanwhile, offers a split view across the handheld's two screens that allows
for both a 2D sprite style as well as a top - down 3D game, with players able to choose between old - school 2D battles or 3D battles by playing with either the d -
pad or
circle pad.
The switch from
circle pads to analog sticks without the octagonal grooves is definitely a plus
for me.
The
circle pad, while not an ideal substitute
for the control stick, is still a great bit of hardware and the a, b, x, y buttons mimic their GCN / Wii counterparts to a tee.

for a great experience.
The two analog sticks have a short throw, allowing
for quick and precise input, while the directional
pad on the top left of the device was acceptable
for the type of quarter -
circle commands demanded by fighting games.
The nub works fine
for those tasks, but I can't help but wish Nintendo had put a real analog stick or
circle pad there to allow developers more gameplay flexibility.
The best argument
for it is aesthetic: it's the trackpad that elevates the Vive controller design from fancy Wii Remote to something truly futuristic; each
pad a beautiful little
circle that looks like a cyberpunk data chip or a pan of expensive eyeshadow.
For instance, in The Sims 3, tapping a spot on the screen to make your Sim walk there is far easier than using a D -
pad to crudely maneuver a
circle to the spot, then tapping X.
