circular logic when discussing their irrational religious beliefs!
Not exact matches
But
when evaluating the claims of the bible, one must use
circular logic... which isn't logical at all.
Circular religious
logic will still never fully justify the fact that religion asks for special rights and protections, which it gets, and then turns those rights and protections on other groups as a defense mechanism for
when they are accused of discriminating... i.e. «We can choose who we accept and who we don't because of our beliefs... wait, what... how can you say you will not accept our religious organization, that's religious discrimination!»
You apparently see a seemingly
circular situation that you do not understand, similar to the
circular logic that believers use
when they say «The Babble is the word of some god because it says it is the word of some god.»
It looks to me that the
circular logic you see existing in Vaughan Pratt's poster is partly what MattStat / MatthewRMarler was expressing in his comment
when he said,
Circular Logic is
when you claim to have proved something that you assumed in the first place.
