perspectives, they represent the hectic urban development of the modern times, moving in a way so accelerated that it is hard to catch its rhythm.
It is themed Sustainable and inclusive urban communities through urban agriculture and aims to bring together scientists from different disciplinary
perspectives, studying motivations and barriers for individual and group practitioners, social, economic and environmental benefits of urban agriculture for the local communities and
cities as a whole, as well as enabling and disabling factors for successful interaction between the local stakeholders in
planning, accessing and using urban resources especially land and water.
