cabin layout, Virgin Atlantic sets itself apart with its approach to flying.
Japan Airlines is also in the process of rolling out its new business

cabin layout could probably use some improvements and the seats are due for a bit of an upgrade, they are a fine way to travel and not the only reason to try Virgin Atlantic Upper
Class.

CAL's A350 - 900 is configured with a premium three
class layout with a total of 306 seats, comprising 32 in Premium Business
class, convertible to fully lie - flat beds, 31 in Premium Economy and 243 in the main
cabin.

layout.
The 3 -3-3
cabin layout means that the seat width isn't going to be impressive and it's interesting that Singapore Airlines doesn't mention any of the Economy
Class seat dimensions anywhere in its press release.
If this new
layout is in fact the new first
class cabin, I think this further marks the new trend of airlines cutting down the size of their first
class cabins.
I have to admit that I've never flown in this Air New Zealand Business
Class cabin but I didn't enjoy my experience with a similar (not identical) seat
layout in the Virgin A330.
The airline has decided to go for a 1 -2-1 and a 2 -2-2
layout for their seats and that makes some seats in the Business
Class cabin a lot more desirable than others — especially for solo travelers.
The older Business
Class cabin offers a 2 -2-2
layout with angle - flat seating (i.e the seat folds out into a 180 degree bed but it's not quite parallel to the floor) while the newer Business
Class cabin looks very similar (it's still a 2 -2-2
layout) but the seats are true lie - flat.

Class cabin of the A350 offers 4 - across seating in a 1 -2-1
layout which means that all passengers in the
cabin have direct access to one of the aircrafts two aisles.
