Class lounge which is slated to open at some point in 2016.
Such VIP
lounges are
out of my league, sadly, as a mere cattle
class passenger.
So on such trips when all the communal standard
class seats are taken by people sprawled
out asleep I've found myself casting envious eyes at the welcoming doors of the Executive VIP Airport
Lounges, with their plush receptions staffed by welcoming airline employees, bright - eyed no whatever what ungodly hour it is, and imagining the delights that lay within.
With a few hours to kill before my onward flight I had plenty of time to check
out the Business
Class lounge's facilities, seating and dining options... so how did it rate?
I'm choosing to book the First
Class award from the Middle East (Doha) specifically so that I can try
out the recently opened (and apparently very nice) First
Class Al Safwa
lounge.
Other small benefits that I'll get for this type of trip: Airline
lounge access with free meals / drinks at nearly every airport (the good kind of meals since they're mostly First
Class lounges), free spa treatment in Dubai's Emirates First
Class Lounge, hotel late check -
out (4 pm), and hotel club
lounge access (free snacks / drinks).
If you're flying
out of Tokyo Narita (NRT) or Tokyo Haneda (HND), your first
class journey will start in a Japan Airlines first
class lounge.
Make sure to book a long connection in Frankfurt to check
out the First
Class Terminal... the
lounge experience of a lifetime!

The Business
Class Bar and

out as soon as I can.
If they come up with something like the British Airways Galleries Club
lounge at Heathrow T5 (which isn't too bad) with enhanced food offerings for Emeralds and First
Class flyers we won't be missing
out on much.
If you're not hungry and you're not a drinker than you probably won't notice too much difference between this
lounge and its big brother downstairs... and I'm tempted to try this
lounge out the next time I'm struggling to find a seat in the First
Class lounge.
Since November 2017, travellers flying on a Oneworld carrier
out of London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3, business
class travellers and Oneworld frequent flier elite members have had another
lounge to choose from with the opening of the Qantas London
Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3.
As a First
Class passenger, you have access to the First

What stands
out is that

I still had some time to kill so I decided to check
out the other Oneworld
lounges, starting with the Cathay Pacific First and Business
Class Lounge.

Even if this isn't quite the case, I'm prepared to spend a few more miles to fly in business
class, a luxury I wouldn't pay for if I had to fork
out the cash, but one I really appreciate when
lounging in style at the front of the plane.
Student
