class striker as his replacement and still lack a major threat on goal four years later.

I keep getting surprised when people talk about our «
striker crisis» and we need world
class this and world
class that — Alexis has scored more goals this season
as wide second
striker than Chelsea's main man Costa.
Its seems to me that both the club and it's fans are not serious.Anytime Arsenal sign a youngster from another team who is dubbed the next whatever people come out and say Arsenal have just signed a youngster who may or may not make it and that Arsene should sign ready made.They say it to seem
as if it's a bad thing.Now that Chris Willock is leaving I'm anticipating that a lot of people are soon going to be blaming the same Wenger who actually likes bringing in youngsters.Anyway you have to look at the reasons he lfet.It's for game time and to him he thinks its a good choice.The bright side is that he's not Arsenal's most talented player.The likes of Donyell Malen, Yassin Fortune, Reiss Nelson in my eyes have more potential
as wingers.I also think Arsenal should be very excited about Eddie Nketiah and Stephy Mavididi.They can be world
class strikers in the future particularly Eddie.
Nothing you could ever do to Giroud would ever make him come good just nothing.Its not a formation set up that gets a player to dribble, score, be world
class, be dependable, wow the crowd and the like.Its the players» own ability that makes him do that.Once you don't have it ya ain't gat it brother.Read my lips!!!!! Once ya don't have it ya ain't gat it.
As simple
as ABC.So I expect this to be another de ja vu case and waste of time if Giroud and Alexis are paired.I'm even shocked it's coming from Henry.He should rather be giving us more reasons why we need a new
striker and why we would fail if we don't get the new
striker.Forget Giroud's stats for a moment and judge him by how he plays when you are watching him.You would realize that given the same chances at Arsenal
strikers who are not even world
class can do better.I want a new
striker even if not world
class and to be honest its not necessarily a world
class striker that wins you a league but just increases the chances of winning it.Peace!!!!
We still need 3 players; 1 CB (Miquel may be the one), 1 top
class DM (not going to happen
as Wenger made Arteta the captain) and 1 top
class central
striker (again unlikely to materialize).
Note that today, he played alongside a world
class striker (Lewandowski) who couldn't even do anything of note
as well
Yeah yeah yeah It's a priority to get a new
striker in of course it is PROVIDING that he cost less that a fiver, is world
class, French and is young enough to make a profit on when we resell him So not really a priority at all!!!!!! The priority here is the same
as it's always been and that NOT spending any money (where is the BT sports money we have got?)
As for the rest, without a proper DM (Arteta is a shadow), another top CB (Mertesacker is finished) and a world
class striker (Wenger forgot that in order to win big you need a 25 - 30 goals killer... Remember Thierry Henry... I do remember!)
Not danny but costa d best
striker in EPL currently...... at the beginning of the season if that wenger bought a world
class CB to compliment kos and brought Song back
as well
as buy costa which he had all the chance to Arsenal would have been deadly... but he chose to go to italy to officiate game..........

as our lead
striker, Arsene should get us a proper world -
class football
striker.
So Arsenal fan's continued wish for a new first
class striker to provide competition for Olivier Giroud continues,

After that game we need a
striker, and a defender all other places are solid.Why waist money on a dm when other places need sorting Monreal is first
class but we need a L back to take over
as next year being 30 he like rosicky will need back up and Gibbs is not that CB
We need better though but I'm in full 100 % support of the purchase of Shkrodan Mustafi and Lucas Perez.Mustafi can help Koscielny now.I've been saying it here time and time again that it's not a world clsss
striker we have needed but a clinical finisher which we have lacked for several seasons and counting.Hopefully this guy puts Giroud where he belongs which is on the bench.Though a world
class striker is good what we have lacked is someone who puts the game to bed in clinical fashion but Arsene Wenger has listened to many people to the extent that if he can't get a world
class striker then he can get anyone.If Arsenal had a clinical finisher for some five seasons or so we coulda won the EPL then.Giroud has cost us matches and will continue to cost us matches.Giroud is half decent
as someone said here the last time.I expect Perez to be much better if he can take on his man and be clinical in front of goal.

class strikers, should be brought in to compete with giroud and campbell would be injury cover.

as his most likely destination, and the world knows we are lacking a top
class striker in our ranks.
Instead of moving players out of position to accommodate a new arrival how about applying some tactical nous and allowing two talented players to both play
as strikers.The best teams of 1998 - 2004 had a number of different
strikers playing off the genius of Dennis Bergkamp.We had pace, movement and power.Although I would not put Ozil in Bergkamps
class he is talented enough to pull the strings with other playmakers such
as Jack and Mikki in the side in a 442.
I just don't know what's wrong with Arsenal fans.Sure I get it
as humans we all have our preferences but things start to look funny when we begin to bash and criticize a player like he's useless.I just don't get why Arsenal fans do nt want Vardy.Oh is it because he's not world
class, he's English, He's not a big name, he's a fairy tale, you feel all he does is run, he's not got a better history in footballing until now or you feel Giroud is better or what?I really pity Arsenal fans honestly.I would've taken Jamie Vardy in a heartbeat.Sure he's not the best option out there.But I'll say this and say it again it's not a world
class striker that wins you a league but rather just increases your chances of winning the league.If you've watched Arsenal clearly from the time since Henry left you realized that it's more of not being able to find a clinical
striker.Eduardo was not a already a finished product when he started his career here yet he was clinical and was on world
class form until injury.What Arsenal need now is a world
class finisher if they can't get a world
class striker.
If we somehow manage to sign top
class striker Cavani, if not then reus, use him
as LW WALCOTT RW AND SANCHEZ ST THEN ADD KHEDIRA TO THE MIX FOR 8 million # its a bargain and we are a complete team no doubt and 100 percent title cotenders and favourites to win the league no doubt about that every one will agree with me...
But I think we could say the same of any big name forward that Arsene Wenger signs this summer and Giroud must be aware that his boss is looking to sign a top
class striker for Arsenal, so I reckon we should keep that in mind when we hear what Olly had to say on the speculation surrounding his fellow countryman,
as reported by Metro.
we again need about three world
class players and in my opinion that includes a genuine Iron man DM with intelligence
as well
as muscle, a genuine world
class 30 goal a season
striker, the likes of which will turn a game around when its looking bad, and with the fall of Santi Cazorla looking ever more imminant we also now need a genuine creative midfielder (why did nt Wenger get Cesc when he was an option?)
Top
class clubs like bayern do not go after players like giroud or use them
as first choice
striker for 4 years straight.
d term» world
class» is used loosely... giroud is a good
striker but showed y he can't b trusted
as our no9... missed easier chance but still scored... don't care if u sai he's not good enough but since he plays for AFC, I'll cheer him on for France 24/7... when he's at arsenal, plays like a donkey and he turns to s ** troud, then I'll change my tune... OT, did u see pogba??? believe he has gotten carried with d hype «golden boy of France»....

striker kills off Spurs with spectacular strike Are there any world
class players in the Premier League?
What a failire he's become.He was bought
as the man supposed to lead the line and send us to glory and now he becomes a so called super sub.I don't get it.France's leading
striker is a super sub at Arsenal.Since he came here he's part of the reason why we've not been able to win the league.He's also part of the reason why Wenger remains hesitant in signing a world
class striker since for some reason he still believes in him.He's really affected Arsenal a lot which I don't kbow if many have realized.At times playing with him is like playing with no
striker at all.This inconsistencies won't help us at all going forward We have absolutely zero quality in striking department.
I've never labelled Giroud world
class, I» e only said that there's no world
class striker on the market that we could get right now so we may
as well stick with Giroud.
i think we should go all out for Henrikh Mkhitaryan the guys is total quality, the PL may be faster paced but when he gets chances his quality is first
class, play Sanchez
as striker iwobi one side him the other and giroud
as a no 2.
a bare bones team with no
striker, Wenger may or may not be utilising his squad properly but regardless of if your an AKB or an AOB the fact is he's NOT going anywhere so deal with it!!!! we need a DM, another Centre back, and also a
striker of world
class calibre which
as much
as I like Giroud he just isn't that
Quick notes on arsemal team 1 - paulista is not good
as i though 2 - coquelin is essential in arsenal midfield to give stability but he can't hold the ball in his feet or give the right pass in the right time so we can't dominate teams anymore especially with santi absence 3 - ramsey = horrible, just a headless chicken running everywhere 4 - ozil could have easily 30 + assists by now 5 - Olivier Giroud the handsom french guy shouldn't ever be a big team first choice
striker 6 - where are the 4 world
class strikers that wenger said we had i didn't se anyone of the yet
as for the summer i think one world
class player in an attacking pos my be
striker, i think we could see a big bid for draxler sometime in the next year, (maybe in this window if we get lucky could be a big surprise at the end of the week would make the window awesome)
as wenger rates him top top top
class talent, and thinks he could make him into the worlds next best
striker maybe try and get him for # 30 million instead.
We finally have a solid
striker (even if he will take some adaptation time I think he'll be true
class) in Lacazette, we have solid center backs (once they are all healthy) much better than in recent seasons, Giroud is our killer weapon off the bench rather than the key we are relying on
as the main source of goals, Coquelin and Elneny are now midfield fall - back options rather than Flamini (no offense Mathieu, I appreciated your efforts, just making the obvious comparison), two high quality keepers, etc..
Our German contingent do n`t seem to be helping us very much and the French run hot and cold,
as the French often do, so let «s think British with the exception of a world
class striker from South America (or somewhere).
The story repeats, if anyone followed his stay with MANURE, he had flashes of brilliance everyone thought he was the next best thing, only to disappear
as fast
as he rose, he then spent half of last season on the bench with Marouane, till MANURE found a team really desperate (US), who missed great opportunities to sign World
class Strikers, to dump him, better yet they got TOP dollars for a barely above average Player....
Here's my take on Walcott; the typical English hype got to him and he over estimated his own abilities in recent seasons, wanting to play
as striker without first establishing himself
as a world
class winger forgatting that even Henry, Ronaldo and even Messi had to first prove their undoubted abilities on the wing befroe going central, Wenger let him suit himself, he hit rock bottom when he wasn't even selected for the Euros and has finally decided to dust himself up and work his way back up, why cant we see that and just give him the necessary support?
As for a
striker i really like giroud and always have admired what he has done for the team so unless there is a top world
class striker available i.e suarez rues (ehich is very doubtfull) iwouldn just buy for the sake of buying.
Up front we have a few world -
class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved,
as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world -
class skills
as a front man, will only be
as good
as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real
striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level,
as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
I also don't understand this Morata obsession that people seem to have, he's not good enough and his record says just
as much, we need a world
class striker not an average
striker who can't find the back of the net!
Chelsea's only good signing is Fabregas, Diego Costa I think is overrated and a bit hot or cold from what I've seen, Costa could quite possibly flop, in my opinion, he's not the definition of a «World
Class Striker» and
as for Fellipe Luis, I haven't watched enough of him to make a judgement however if we bring in one more marquee signing then I'll be convinced that we've had the best transfer window out of any other club in the Premier League.
As far as I know the majority of fans wanted a class striker added to our squad last year.You can cover a shaky defence by banging them in the other end hence the successful season Leicester are havin

There are some decent if not world
class strikers out there but
as the closing of the window approaches, it will be a lot harder to persuade any club to part with their best players.
I still think we should sign a world
class striker if we can but if we don't i wont be worrying
as much
as other people are!
The only thing Arsene Wenger should learn from the current season is, what we have been telling him all along, that we need a world
class striker to lead the team,
as Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane have been instrumental in their side's push to win the league, much in the way that Diego Costa fired Chelsea to the title last season.
Haha and a new stadium
as well too, with lots of car parks, sorry mate our midfield is well loaded barring any major injuries which of course
as we know will most definetely happen, all we need is a world
class striker (Admin * Cough - article *), centre back, maybe a winger and handle the two other positions which are not that neccesary but could be useful for rotation like the ospina back up position and getting an extra midfielder in Ngolo Kante I love his simplicity and his mobility much much much better upgrade to flamini
