of it: a literature that long antedated our glorious gains in science and the immense scope
of modern knowledge, which moves in the quiet atmosphere
of the ancient countryside, with camels and flocks and roadside wells and the joyous shout
of the peasant at vintage or in harvest — this literature, after all that has intervened, is still our great literature, published abroad as no other in the total
of man's writing, translated into the
world's great languages and many minor ones, and cherished and loved and studied so earnestly as to set it in a
class apart.

We need better though but I'm in full 100 % support
of the purchase
of Shkrodan Mustafi and Lucas Perez.Mustafi can help Koscielny now.I've been saying it here time and time again that it's not a
world clsss striker we have needed but a clinical finisher which we have lacked for several seasons and counting.Hopefully this guy puts Giroud where he belongs which is on the bench.Though a
world class striker is good what we have lacked is someone who puts the game to bed in clinical fashion but Arsene Wenger has listened to many people to the extent that if he can't get a
world class striker then he can get anyone. If Arsenal had a clinical finisher for some five seasons or so we coulda won the EPL then.Giroud has cost us matches and will continue to cost us matches.Giroud is half decent as someone said here the last time.I expect Perez to be much better if he can take on his
man and be clinical in front
of goal.

What a failire he's become. He was bought as the
man supposed to lead the line and send us to glory and now he becomes a so called super sub.I don't get it.France's leading striker is a super sub at Arsenal.Since he came here he's part
of the reason why we've not been able to win the league. He's also part
of the reason why Wenger remains hesitant in signing a
world class striker since for some reason he still believes in him. He's really affected Arsenal a lot which I don't kbow if many have realized. At times playing with him is like playing with no striker at all. This inconsistencies won't help us at all going forward We have absolutely zero quality in striking department.

no one ordered the
man to build a strike force around walcott and giroud or to put a quid on suarez «s asking price or to bring in nogo and park (or perez for that matter) or to sell gnabry and play iwobi regularly or to have ramsey playing in every position bar goalkeeper or to take 7 years to work out how to get the best from Ox or to believe merteshaker was alright for the epl when he was way past his international sell by date or to forego a
world class DM for 5 years and then plonk down 30 odd mill on an average swiss international or try out a series

man u is fighting, same mancity notop four they know attracting
world class players will be tough.do u think thats the same reason arsenal wants to finish top four??
If we want to compete with the likes

World Class defenders like Kompany and Cahill.
nice to see you crawl out
of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts
of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or
world -
class players into the fold without being fearful
of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal
of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this club was no longer interested in competing at the highest levels... instead
of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front
man» for this corporation pretending to be a
world -
class soccer club... without the «front
man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great
man and Kroenke has done to my beloved club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow

Why not sign Chicharito and put an end to this hulabaloo. The guy has quality and I've watched him enough to know he's not the kind
of player who'll be missing chances. His best attribute is his movement and speed. He finishes chances off like

man very well.In fact he always causes trouble and keeps opposition players on their toes.
Fernando and Jovetic are 2

world class everyone knows that
Our youth policy has not really produced any
world class talent in the making like some
of the bright prospects we see at Spurs or
Man U. And if it wasn't for the Barca academy our only promising
world class prospect Bellerin would likely be a name we never heard
of.
Up front we have a few
world -
class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack
of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some
world -
class skills as a front
man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love
of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both
of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste
of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment
of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think
of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
OF course you can't blame him for everything, but everything football related yes he runs that side of the club without interference from anyone, here is a man who blames everything and everyone other than ever looking at himself when the team loses a game, for how many years has the club been crying out for a world - class dm, he refused to buy player's to compliment ozil and Sanchez, yes 100 percent, a better manager would get more from the same players

mates its time we say hard truths and stand by them.we want arsenal to win the title not arsen so spending is not an issue.this season we hve seen how our squad is
of average quality only three or four
world class players.is wenger the
man to take us the next level.someone who drops joel and picks Walcott who is currently playing like an amateur.our midfield is shocking we keep passing the ball backwards till we concede is when we st art shifting gears.we need more urgency from both the players and manager.play the same way everyweek and expect a win.its time arsenal moves on we need new
man at the helm to lead the club.

Because in Wenger's thinking, If Arsenal has a Stadium with the seating capacity closer to that

world class prayers on regular basis than it's presently the case.
