OUYA owners have been posting gameplay videos on the console's official message boards demonstrating that the console meant to revolutionize the home video game market and provide an outlet for developers is pretty much being used to run emulations of
classic games of the past instead, especially titles from the immensely popular Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 systems.

past and making polished ports
of the
classic games themselves in more recent years, Sonic Mania is a realization
of what Sonic was and what it can still be.
Some
of Nintendo's TV efforts in the
past have been pretty abysmal at best, but this commercial does a good job
of conveying that Super Mario Maker is more than just a
game, it's a creativity tool for creating your own levels featuring
classic Mario enemies and items.
Gamers who know the joys
of the Super Nintendo (and those waiting for the SNES
Classic) should be familiar with one
of the most iconic
games in the Legend
of Zelda series: A Link to the
Past.
So the
game doesn't only revolve around animated portraits with text message to forward the story but tries to tell a cinematic story mixed with the nostalgic visuals
of the
past, resulting in an RPG is easily one
of the best
classic RPG I have played this year.
The
game is littered with references and nods to the
classic JRPGs and even the
past games of the developers themselves.
Personally, Sonic Mania edges out Sonic CD for me because I was never that big
of a fan
of the time - traveling aspect in Sonic CD, and Mania builds upon every
classic Sonic
game that came before it while also not forgetting its
past, if that makes any sense whatsoever.
Better still, it's preloaded with 21
classic games, including The Legend
of Zelda: A Link to the
Past, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country.
Following last week's set
of deals, another round
of classic games from the
past 10 years and beyond are discounted.
After the Oracles dualogy on the
Game Boy Color, developers Flagship and Nintendo have kept the series in its 2D guise, tipping the hat to SNES
classic A Link to the
Past while embracing an art style reminiscent
of GameCube instalment The Wind Waker.
What began as a remake
of the Super Nintendo

of the most delightfully charming adventures available on any
game platform.
