This special issue of The Washington Spectator coincides with the launch of the Marfa Dialogues / New York project — a citywide public conversation on climate change scheduled for this October and November in New York....

In conversation with the migration of tree species due to climate change, Mattingly's work offers a visible demonstration of the reverberations of climate change within Storm King's environment by transforming the landscape.

The development process for this exhibition runs in parallel with conversations currently occurring in the wider community about moving forward in unity and strength through the currently charged political climate.

Adam Pendleton will be in conversation with DeRay McKesson, an educator and leading voice in the Black Lives Matter movement, about his exhibition at BMA and about our current socio - political climate.

In conjunction with the opening of Carbon 13, Ballroom Marfa and the Washington Spectator are proud to present the second bi-annual Marfa Dialogues, a three - day symposium that includes conversations around climate change and sustainability with artists, performers, writers, scientists and entrepreneurs.

Created in 2001 by artist David Buckland, who has described the project as a «conversation between nature and art and science», Cape Farwell has inspired the Art and Climate Change exhibition, with works by Antony Gormley and Gary Hume, which this year is touring with the Barbican art gallery.
