project has enrolled 7,000 farmers (88 % of the
project's total target), who are registered in the Olam Information System (OFIS); completed basic training in order to optimize sustainable yields and other income opportunities; introduced record keeping practices by distributing log books to 1,000 farmers; promoted farmer group
development in a Training of Trainers (ToT) session; trained 10 new lead farmers
on best agricultural practices that were then integrated with
climate - smart agricultural Practices (CSA) and the Sustainable Agricultural Network (SAN) Standard; as well as conducted a baseline sampling monitoring survey that is currently being analyzed by the program team.

Climate Transparency (PACT) consortium supports the design and
development of robust and effective transparency and accountability rules and processes for the Paris Agreement
on climate climate change.
The Plan identifies three phases implementation: I focused
on establishing the Framework's infrastructure and initiating and facilitating demonstration
projects in the initial priority areas; II is the
development phase, focusing
on the core regional and national mechanisms for
climate services; and III, the expansion and continuation phase, during which maintenance and sustainability of institutional mechanisms will be emphasized.
It was produced by CDKN's
project partners as part of the CDKN - ICLEI
project on Subnational
climate compatible
development: learning from CDKN's experience.

Based
on current knowledge, it is expected that good quality
projects from the following programs from both the compliance and voluntary carbon markets will be eligible: Clean
Development Mechanism, Verified Carbon Standard, Gold Standard,
Climate Action Reserve, American Carbon Registry, and a new mechanism which is being developed under the Paris Agreement.
