Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to authorize a certified master social worker to provide
clinical social work services.
«Clinical social work experience» is defined as a period during which the applicant provides
clinical social work services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of clients; provided that at least 50 percent of the hours worked consist of providing psychotherapy and counseling services directly to clients.
«Provisional clinical social worker licensee» means a person provisionally licensed under this chapter to provide
clinical social work services under supervision.
(a) 3000 supervised hours spent providing psychotherapy or
clinical social work services to individuals, families, and groups, of which at least 50 percent shall include the application of psychosocial methods in direct client contact;
