The Final Fantasy VII remake made its debut at 2015's
E3, but this
year brought us no
closer to taking up our buster sword once again.
This
year's
E3 may have come
to a
close but the event is still fresh in our minds.
While there will actually be two different instances for the game at this
years E3, one of them being a 5 - 6 minute long trailer which Kojima says could be uncomfortable
to watch, this will be available for the public and then there will be a separate 30 minute or so of gameplay shown
to members of the press behind
closed doors which makes fans feel left out but hopefully some of that game play will find its way
to the internet in a later stage for us
to look at, Every minute of this game is another minute I spend picking my jaw up off the floor!
Ninja Gaiden III was first announced by Tecmo Koei behind
closed doors at last
year's Tokyo Game show, and is expected
to surface at this
year's
E3.

Huxley has gone through several
closed beta tests since its
E3 showing last
year and, though there's still no talk of a release date, is set
to come out on PC sometime.
As we come
closer to this
year's
E3, more information regarding the possible games and announcements that we can expect are gradually revealed
to us.
That $ 150,000 was spent directly fulfilling physical rewards for Kickstarter backers, packing and shipping the rewards, covering marketing expenses — including the booth at
E3 2012 — and supporting the project over
close to three
years.
Nintendo's Treehouse Live feature has ended for this
year's
E3, bringing the show
to a
close for Nintendo fans.
Sony decided
to close their press conference at this
year's
E3 by giving us just over 7 minutes of in - game action from Naughty Dog's next title The Last Of Us.
This
year had a lot of firsts (
E3, local press events, and game preview events), so it makes sense
to close the
year out with one more major conference.
Insomniac Games upcoming Spider - Man game for the PlayStation 4 made its debut last
year at
E3; and
to close off their conference, Sony showcased the first official gameplay footage for Spider - Man.
2016 was the
year I first started paying
closer attention
to E3.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced at last
year's
E3 event, and fans of the series were finally able
to close that black hole in their lives.
To ring in a new
year of incredible gaming experiences, the PlayStation team is planning a new
E3 Showcase — and we're inviting all of our
closest friends.
Earlier this
year, sources claimed that a new trailer would be shown at
E3 2018 and that journalists would also get a chance
to see the game in action, with gameplay being shown in a behind -
closed - doors event.
There will more than likely be another Direct
closer to E3 with the rest of the
year's games and release dates.
Now, as the
year draws
closer to E3, new rumors have sprung up which suggest that the release of the next generation of PlayStation consoles may not be so far away.
I'm hoping the announcement will be as impressive as last
year's
e3 or
close to it.
With the game set
to debut sometime next
year, it appears that Insomniac have the full support and backing of Sony, with the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation
closing down their
E3 conference showcasing a range of the title's gameplay.
This time, The Gamesmen talk about
E3 2017 being open
to the public, the Castlevania Netflix series, the
closing of Oculus Rift demo stations, Valve replacing Steam Greenlight, and there being no new Skylanders game this
year.
Somewhere between the massive digital screens, the loud noises, huge crowds and the hustle and bustle of the convention, I realized this certainly had
to be an
E3 closer to what the other guys in the industry look back on as the «good ol' days» (as they explained it
to me when they talked about the show this
year).
This
year at
E3 Sony held
closed door demonstrations of its Project Morpheus virtual reality headset, and I was fortunate enough
to get
to spend some hands - on (eyes - on) time with device and two of the tech demos that Sony had prepared for it.
The game was announced prior
to E3 of this
year, and gamers are inching

closer to the title's Nov. 15 launch date.
The on - stage demo at this

E3 (which is where the video above comes from) may look as though it's heavily choreographed, but in our behind
closed doors session the developers explained that there's no one way
to play out each scenario - before proving it by taking a different route and utilising different scenery elements in a live playthrough of the same section of game.

Usually when a developer announces a game's development at
E3 that means they are getting
close to releasing it (unless that game is The Last Guardian or a Final Fantasy / Kingdom Hearts title, of course) so I figured that, logically, this
year they would show some gameplay or at least a story trailer giving us more information on the game.

The 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo (
E3) has come
to a
close, and after half a
year with new consoles in the wild, the show's theme was clear: Games, games and more games.
As
E3 closes up shop for the
year, we finally have a moment
to reflect on a week of gorging ourselves on news about the continuing console war between Microsoft and Sony (and, uh, Nintendo).
After
years of
E3 showcases, the third - person, co-op-focused shooter is
closer than ever, with an Xbox One - exclusive beta set
to commence this December.
Microsoft have promised
to show the three games noted for their absence at this
year's
E3 — Crackdown, Scalebound and Quantum Break — as well providing a
closer look at other upcoming games and sharing some exciting announcements.
This
year was the first time I ever got
to attend
E3, and being part of the media allowed us
to get appointments with different companies
to preview games behind
closed doors.
20
years after its launch on PC in 1997, we announced at
E3 2017 that Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is coming exclusively
to Windows 10, with a
closed beta available for registration now.
