Spot on bro... the problem with most of us Arsenal fans is that we've been made to accept average as our only option after been promised by Gazidis and other members of the board that we will compete with top European clubs... i feel some players need to be allowed to go in order for better ones who are ambitious and hungry for titles to come in... and someone made mention of Giroud saving Arsenal in a few games like the countless chances he's missed that could have put
the club in better positions could be equated right... he should have done that against Watford, west brom and the rest... truth be told..

modern football is all about a defensive midfielder who can be the one to cover the 2 CBs and not leave them hanging whenever a mistake is done
in the midfield also if you can remember when we bought nacho monreal he was supposed to cover a
position in the midfield and now is left back for 3 — 4 years and this is unacceptable if you see other
clubs the build the teams over the DM so that the rest midfielders can create we bought this mess ozil which from day one he is not performing and not adjusting to BPL i don't know my friend i am speaking my mind from here

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger'

It is very difficult not to see, the
best thing for the
club would be if he steps down (or gets a
position on the board or
in the executive management).
Mertz should never have been our captain
in the first place... who has ever heard of a team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership
positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the
better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating
in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played
in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar
positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this
club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role
in the management structure of this
club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest
in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
Well done to Welbeck you first of many goals for our club, and well done to Ozil it's nice to see you back playing in your best posit

The 27 - year - old is widely considered to be one of the
best in the world
in his
position, but with a colossal price tag being slapped on by his current
club it may prove too much of a risk for United if his attitude is brought into question.
«I want to do

Besides several teams who have questions surrounding one or possibly two players, there is no squad that has so many issues heading into the final week of the transfer window... even Monaco, who have lost numerous players from their starting 11 have less controversy swirling
in and around their
club and they have champion's league play to contend with this season... just think of how ridiculous this situation is especially considering that we have had the same manager for over 20 years... no team should be
better organized than ours... if nothing else, that should be the one advantage this team holds over all others, yet the exact opposite has occurred... this fact is even more disturbing considering the main argument against removing Wenger from his managerial
position was that there was no suitable replacement and that people feared some sort of perceived drop - off if a new manager was brought into the mix... based on what we've witnessed since the time of his contract renewal a monkey with a magic eight ball could have done an adequate job... I hate to make jokes,
in light of our current dilemma, but this team is so screwed up if I don't laugh about it, the only plausible response is to either cry or do something incredibly destructive... just look around this squad and try to see what our delusional manager sees that allow him to make such positive statements about our current team
Good evening mate, agree with everything you say I feel so sad and worried about where Wenger is taking the
club this season and while it was great fun mocking Man U fans last season we are going to end up
in a similar
position this time around unless Ivan and stan grow some balls and sack our old deluded stubborn manager
With Wenger claiming a few weeks ago that the
club are
in a much
better position to hold on to players compared to the time when van Persie was sold, it remains to be seen if Le Prof can back up his words and block Sanchez from joining City, BUT you have to remember Wenger's actual words.
Arsenal football
club would be
better off financially without him, and
in a
better position in the league.
Some fans are mentioning Chambers as a potential DM
in important fixtures... The boy just arrived at Arsenal and he is already a big part of the squad (3 possible
positions)... Just to say that a 19yo is a major piece of our team, it says a lot about the ambition and the status of the
club (and this is a talented player who was not a first team regular at Southampton, but that is not a problem... If he is
good he is
good).
Why spend 30 - 40 mil and stifle Coquelin's career for a player who doesn't necessarily perform
in that
position naturally anyway and Coquelin could potentially do a
better job and knows the country, league and
club well?
Some consistency
in his play and avoiding injuries will really help Wilshere's game and will help both
club and country identify which is his
best position.
And just for
good measure the Frenchman pointed out, as reported by Metro, that Arsenal are
in a
better position having a player like Alexis desperate to play than some other
clubs having the opposite sort of problem with the likes of Diego Costa and Dimitri Payet.
