Of course it would be silly to suggest that
winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the
club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this
club... I'm certainly not going to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal
win, I'm a fan of this
club first and foremost, but how bad are
things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real change would finally come... I resent this team for even making me feel such thoughts and it's going to take a lot of effort on their part to earn my trust again... this
club has treated the fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged... fans rise and fall depending on the results of each game because we don't have faith in those in charge to make the necessary changes to personnel and tactics... each time we
win many fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard to take the long view when those in charge have lied incessantly and refuse to take any responsibilities for their own actions... in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period... to be honest, the
thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which considering our frugal nature and the way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is more than a little disconcerting

clubs which can't even buy like Arsenal have
won very good trophies.Even at those times we were in debt we had a good team capable of
winning the EPL or winng some of the smaller trophies. But we just went on trophyless. Now we are almost debt free and we are promised glory but honestly we don't even have the hope of glory. The only
thing that can save us is renewal of the mind of the manager and board. That will bring a positive change. It's only insanity to keep doing the same
thing and expect different results. We have a lot to prove out there to the world because the greatness of Arsenal has really gone down in the face of the world. They only see us as a team with good football that's all.The world doubts us and we have a point to prove. The values of a
club is as important as
winning trophies. If not Arsenal wouldn't have been this top
club that people talk about everyday were it fpr only values or trophies. They go hand in hand. However, to the world trophies are very important and that fact can not be hidden.

the interlude gave players a break away from the pressure cooker environs of the EPL, the managers few days to reassess the positions of their

things right, always another season to try again and this, whether consciously or otherwise is a malaise that has infected the player» a pysche... I have said this so many times, Fergie

@Jimbeam that story was not credible.Ut was made up.Also your questions have are not even in line with what am saying. You are asling this and that and bla bla bla.It was needless.Everybody who is here wants Arsenal to achieve success regardless of whether we have average players or not because that's what we as fans do.The
thing I was trying to say is that the same people who here who are nagging and crying are the same people who claimed to have lowered their expectations for the transfer window. So why all this talk.Listen I'll even want Arsenal to even have a world class eleven and when we don't
win the cup with that world class eleven i wonder who'll be blamed after that. The critical thinkers here will tell you the main
thing worrying this
club is not even about the players. It's all summed up in one word known as philosophy.

club then no way are
things okay.ill end with asking my question which has not been answered yet... do u believe wenger will
win title with arsenal nxt yeat (epl), do u believe we will be among the strong contenders for the title untill the end when it matters most???? wenger is a smart guy he knows nxt season automatic arsenal will be struggling even for fourth so that is our target and its a shame we fans r ready to waste another year.I am done with this saga we will find out soon enough and I hope and pray we don't regret giving this so called legend another chance coz I hve screamed, cried, and pple dare call pple who want change not arsenal fans or not die hards.cheers guys seems top four is safe our annual top fourbparade is in place
That is because fans are now weary and accustomed to our
club ALWAYS coming up short, fans are tired of the feeling of groundhog day you get with Arsenal... from the perpetual never ending injury nightmares, to the frustrations of losing games we have no business even drawing, to the inevitable underwhelming transfer dealings etc... if there is anything more frustrating it's fans who think their unbridled and borderline delusional belief in the
club is enough to
win us
things, conveniently forgetting that in life you get what you put in and pure luck cam only take you so far....
