A lot of fans, past players and even pundits
are asking for us to sign Benzema and if we do that would
be a big F**K YOU to either Theo or his agent, whoever
was holding the
club at ransom for a pay raise and back to the wings you go... Get a feeling now seeing Pedro going to Chelsea whom has won everything there
is to win and to me
is on a different
level than Theo could have
been ours if 1) Walcott wasn't homegrown to make up that number and 2) to prevent him from going to a rival.
I
'm going to repeat what I said earlier... this team actively pursued a policy to undermine the relationship between the fans and the best player
on this team... for all intent and purposes this
is a traitorous act... so instead of spending money, which all pundits and fans agreed
was necessary in order to compete at the highest
levels, this
club was wasting time and money trying to turn fans against Sanchez long before the end of the season (the real concerted effort started around the time that Wenger benched him for the start of the Liverpool game)... for a team that pertains to
be different, like a FAMILY, and constantly questions the tactics of it
's opponents, to engage in such a treasonous act
is deplorable

being in the top four [lots of

be realistic, I think progress would
be aiming for the top two now, enough of these top four stories, it ran its course now we need to aim higher, when the top two
is our priority, it becomes inevitable that whoever might
be in front of us
is bound to slip up
on a few occasions ala Bayern and Dortmund, we should now set our sights
on the top four of the champions league lol

level if and only if arsenal make massive signings that will give us a major trophy... if we
are for example leading the league in like seven points in February, then we can afford to give them some minutes
on field but they wont get game time
on the current team cz the manager realizes that the
club needs trophies and hez running out of time so i even doubt he will use them in capital one cup... Good luck boys
nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived
on the scene and will continue to do so long after he
's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point
was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product
on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without
being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it
was easy to see that this
club was no longer interested in competing at the highest
levels... instead of
being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to
be a world - class soccer
club... without the «front man» this organization would have
been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence
was imperative if the facade
was to continue... it
's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved
club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself,
is largely indefensible and this
is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
Courtois who at 22

Szczesny
is talking pure sense, our team just trains like any other day and goes for the match to play the Arsenal way, they don't really prepare based
on opponents, they play the same way everyday, if it works out Wenger will
be regarded as a genius, but most of the times we see what happens, that
's why we
are now 14 years trophyless in the EPL (before the AKBs come and starts comparing us to Everton and Spurs, just know that we
are not in their
level, compare us to the Manchester
clubs and Chelsea)

sorry this
is a bit of the subject does anyone know what the situation with our overall debt
is at the moment and what our repayments
are i
was under the impression that we
are at about the # 245 million mark gross debt and about # 97 net debt
are the stadium repayments lower now or something
is the bonds interest dropped lower inprice we
were paying something like # 20 - # 30 million in repayments but heard its down to about # 15 million per yr now i know we will have broken throught the # 300 million mark in revenue now i
am guessing that contributes more to the transfer funds or if not what makes up the transfer funds in the
club i.e deals or match day revenue plus cash in the bank which stands at a high
level but must
be just in case we might default
on a payment we need heavy cash in hand to bail us out this side of the
club really intrigues me as it
is not a much talked about subject unless you
are into that type of area of work or care about the general fianacial outcome of the
club does anyone have more insight into our finances would
be great to hear from anyone about this matter cheers gonerwineverything (because we
are)
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez
is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never
been more
on display than in North London, but the
club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have
been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only
be as good as the players and system around him, which
is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have
been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have
been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither
are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both
are below average first - touch players, which should
be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have
been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which
is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had
been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey
is a direct indictment of this
club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack
on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next
level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it
is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always
be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
The vitriol people give Wenger and the
club is embarrassing, while we true fans have no doubts that he
's capable of producing a title winning side again (emphasis
on the again because its worth noting he

be ruled out with the
level of arrogance some
are keen to display like you.

be seen if this could cause some tension at the top
level of the

on transfers anyway.

club, though, as they
were relegated from the Premier League and he had a disastrous campaign

level.
He
was quite a good manager, Infact he
was unique and very likeable — but for the past 10 years he
's brought us down to a
level of mediocre
club — thrashed
on occasions, good for a raise of blood pressure - and ridiculed the world over..

Arsenal's Midfield
is a complete mess at the moment. The Ox has presumably had enough; Coquelin frankly isn't good enough although

is unlikely to play at the same
level again following
