the clutch hydraulic fluid channel, limiting clutch transmission torque during sudden start from stop

(Provided your car has an
hydraulic clutch actuator) The brake
fluid in the
clutch actuator lines needs to be replaced (Often overlooked as it is a separate circuit).
At that temperature I would be more concerned about the viscosity of the grease in the

An electric pump supplies the VAQ unit with varying degrees of pressurised
hydraulic fluid; this oil operates a pack of
clutches that can lock the driveshaft to the diff cage, and therefore, essentially, the other driveshaft too.
Transmission
fluid is directed throughout the valve body by various transmission solenoids — such as the transmission shift solenoid, lockup solenoid, or transmission control solenoid (there's also a torque converter
clutch solenoid)-- that either open or close
hydraulic valves to regulate
fluid flow.

Changes up or down through the gears are handled by this
hydraulic clutch, which is essentially a
fluid, spun at speed, that makes the connection between engine and gearbox.
The solenoids allow direct control of the
hydraulic pressure applied to the shifting
clutches, along with centrifugal
fluid pressure canceling mechanisms, enabling finer control than conventional
clutch - control systems.
