We have another
addition to the fantastic
game preview program on Xbox One and it comes in the way of
co-op shooter Deep Rock Galactic, and I must admit it surprised me quite a lot.
Playing it in
co-op is a good
addition, but in the long run the
game loses part of its charm.
The biggest change in this sequel is the
addition of four player
co-op, be it online or couch
co-op, this is a huge positive and adds hundreds of hours of additional gameplay as it provides a whole new twist to the
game.
The skill curve for competitive multiplayer is no less steep than it was in past
games, but new gameplay tweaks and fun
additions like Archon mode and
co-op make this the most accessible StarCraft
game to date.
The
addition of online
co-op multiplayer and the other small features are great and add some replay value to an already cheap
game.
Sure you can play it on your own, but when multiplayer
co-op was the one thing Undercover was missing when it released back in 2013, the fact it has it now, gives the
game a fresh feel, which is a welcome
addition as it has gone a great way in making an old
game feel like a whole new experience.
In
addition to the new mode, the Switch version will also provide local
co-op multiplayer with each of the Switch's Joy - Con controllers, making the experience of playing the
game co-operatively (and on the go) that much easier.
Because the main quest can be completed rather quickly, the
addition of
co-op makes this a great
game to drop into when you have someone over, or if you have a kid or somebody who might not be great at video
games.
The new multiplayer mode is a slick

game that lets up to four players compete in a variety of
co-op and versus modes on a spit screen.

It is basically a way for the player to keep enjoying the
game even if they have managed to finish the story and the

co-op means there is a lot more replay value than your typical Musou
game.
Unfortunately while the
game is fun in
co-op, the same can not be said for its multiplayer mode that offers a variety of different modes including the classic Deathmatch and Dominion but also has some new
additions like Distance King and No Cross mode.
The
game features two player
co-op play as well as a full story mode in
addition to arcade mode, which focuses less on story and more on high scores.
Co-op in a
game like this feels incredibly natural, given the genre's roots in tabletop gaming; the
addition of communication with another human being makes gameplay a slower - paced but altogether more joyful experience.
The
addition of
co-op mode normally won't be seen as a big deal, but the way it has been integrated here makes the Switch the definitive version of the
game for me.
However, I have since learned that, in
addition to a fully fledged story mode (which can be played alone or through
co-op), the
game will support
co-op vs. AI formats for several of its online multiplayer offerings.

co-op for your handheld experience so Ubisoft has made sure to keep almost every aspect of the
game included in this package.
Additions like local
co-op, time attack mode, and new challenge modes are all present in Sine Mora EX for the Switch, and while these modes certainly help round out the overall experience, they won't do much for players who have already had their fill of the main
game.
Klei fought shy of adding
co-op to its brilliant
game of goth survival whimsy for a couple of years, reasoning (not unreasonably) that the
addition of other people might break its esoteric spell, which relies on feelings of isolation and discovery.
In
addition to the price tag, Runic also revealed a new — fourth and final — class that will be joining the Berserker, Outlander and Engineer; Embermage, «highly - trained spellcasters renowned for their skill, dedication, and arcane power» as described by the official
game site, which makes it all the more fun to play this
game in its featured

games multiplayer is executed perfectly, we can't help but think that an Online extension of the
co-op mode would be another great
addition.

co-op and verses over Xbox Live is a nice
addition, but at this point in XBLA
games it is to be expected.
While free roam is always an option to casually cruise through Australia, Online Adventure, and Four Player Career
Co-op are two
additions that are instant
game changers.
The new
addition of the Funky Mode is fun bonus for players, and if an easy mode isn't your style remember - is also a great option for friends playing in
co-op mode or for people who maybe want to play through the
game again quickly.
The
addition of
co-op is well - implemented and surprisingly shines as one of the best new features introduced in the
game.
Perhaps most notably since the
game's inception (besides making the multiplayer even more fun than the original NGJ prototype) is the
addition of a story mode for both single player and 2 player
co-op.
Platinum have mentioned that they forelayed the
addition of local
co-op in order to enable the
game to run at 60 frames per second.
In
addition to having the same avatar, single - player and
co-op will share crafting materials and recipes, which may explain the
game - wide online requirement.
Whilst not one of the highlights of the series, with Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, Insomniac has not forgotten much of the key ingredients that make a Ratchet & Clank

game, but it's nonetheless successful at steering the franchise in a fresh direction, that being a simplistic but enjoyable
