I totally understand that you can experience the story with a friend in
co-op and I don't deny, I've had some fun in
games like Saints Row 2 when playing with others in the
past, but it's that combination of factors that keeps me
from ever venturing into the online modes most
games offer these days.
The couch
co-op really was a salute to the couch
co-op games of the
past, such as Bomberman, creating the crazy fun that you remember
from these
games during childhood.
From a
game that did very well on
co-op play in the
past, it's not a stretch to see this as a possibility.
