After initially failing to meet the hype and lacking any functional multiplayer
mode, the developers tried to implement a quick fix for multiplayer but there was never any proper
co-op support for the game.
Virtual Reality and motion control are
supported for those who prefer that extra level of immersion, the game can be played entirely in single - player or
co-op, and there's even a game
mode that removes combat entirely from the campaign for players who prefer a more relaxed, contemplative experience.
The Xbox Live Arcade version of Plants vs Zombies adds
co-op and verses multiplayer
modes which are fun but unfortunately no Xbox Live

modes, while set on the full - scale destructible environments found within each of the procedurally generated environments from the single player and
co-op modes with the progressive upgrades system, customisable loadout and
support for two to four players.
The game has drop - in / drop - out
co-op support for both the story levels and free roam
modes, making the game an excellent choice for parents and kids who game together.
