chocolate brownies.
Oh man... I made these with Hershey's Special Dark
cocoa powder and chopped up a Godiva 63 % dark
chocolate bar, a few squares not the whole
bar, and added chopped up mounds... they were ridiculous!
Is it possible to use dark
chocolate bars rather than
cocoa powder?
Instead of the
chocolate chips, I chop up and fold in half of an organic dark
chocolate bar (Pascha 55 % cacao with
cocoa nibs is my favorite).
Just a heads up: The flavor of this
chocolate is definitely more
cocoa than
chocolate — it's dense and sweet, but it doesn't taste like the
chocolate in a
chocolate bar.

The Vosges Amalfi
Bar is comprised of white
chocolate with an impressive 36 %
cocoa butter, lemon zest (and lemon oil), pink peppercorns, and pretty packaging in which the peppercorns look like sequins and the lemon zest like brightly coloured streamers.
Instead of
cocoa powder I used 2
bars of dark
chocolate (melted) and cut down on honey.
I found that if I mix
cocoa powder with coconut oil, vanilla, salt & sugar I can produce a
chocolate bar that is both tasty and healthy!
Their small - batch
bars have two measly ingredients (
cocoa beans and cane sugar), resulting in the fruitiest
chocolate imaginable.
Bean - to -
bar chocolate is made simply from whole cacao beans, sugar and maybe a touch of
cocoa butter.

CHOCOLATE 75 % was the perfect % of
cocoa for us and we thoroughly enjoyed this
bar, it was the perfect post dinner snack.

cocoa solids.
