I have done something similar, and discovered that if I did not is my honey / coconut oil /
cocoa powder mixture well enough, the honey separated out on the top... so maybe that is the deal with the blueberry...
If using, add the vanilla bean to the cream and
cocoa powder mixture and bring to a boil.
Create a well in the center of
the cocoa powder mixture and add the pureed bean mixture, plus the applesauce, vanilla, and coffee.
Use a silicone spatula or wooden spoon to stir
the cocoa powder mixture and 1/3 of the whipped cream into the chocolate.
Remove the pan from heat and pour over the sugar and
cocoa powder mixture.
Working in 2 batches, sift
the cocoa powder mixture over the batter and gently fold it in.
Add in the eggs and vanilla and then
the cocoa powder mixture.
stir
the cocoa powder mixture into the melted chocolate and mix until it is smooth.
Stir 1 cup of the batter into
the cocoa powder mixture.
Add in the eggs and vanilla and then
the cocoa powder mixture.
Pour about 1/2 cup of warm milk into
cocoa powder mixture and whisk until smooth and no stray lumps of cocoa powder remain.
Whisk in
the cocoa powder mixture until smooth.
