When you're in the mood for a smoothie, but need something that eats like a meal, go with this mango and
coconut smoothie bowl.
As spring is starting to spread its wings and fresh berries load the farmers» markets, I couldn't think of something more delicious than a berry
coconut smoothie bowl, topped with chia and toasted sesame seeds for texture, and even more berries because I just can't get enough.
Topped with crunchy granola, goji berries, raw cacao nibs and
coconut smoothie bowl is bursting with plant based goodness.

I made a similar
smoothie bowl, using mango and

I eat this for breakfast either with
coconut yoghurt or sprinkled on porridge,
smoothie bowls or chia puddings — it really tastes great with everything!
I recently made a plant - based mango
smoothie bowl using
coconut water that you might want to try out (if you use frozen bananas in it, it doubles up as a great dessert too!)
They have beautiful acai
bowls with creamy chia pudding or probiotic muesli, delicious
smoothies, lots of inspired juices, fresh
coconuts and a selection of salads.
For breakfast in between my morning yoga practice and a conference call, I made a berry
smoothie bowl and topped it with
coconut shreds and blueberries.
I always keep frozen pineapples stocked for my
smoothies and
smoothie bowls, and combining it with sweet, freshly sliced pineapples, bananas and shredded
coconut kept me energized to conquer the day.
When thoroughly chilled, being careful not to shake, open up the two cans of straight
coconut milk and (depending on whether you have opened the can with the cream or liquid layer at the top) either tip off the
coconut water into a glass and scoop out the
coconut cream that is left into a
bowl, or scoop the
coconut cream off the top to a
bowl and pour the leftover
coconut water into a glass (save the
coconut water to drink or put in a
smoothie).
I've never been much of a
smoothie fan myself, but shove it in a
coconut bowl and lace it with copious amounts of chocolate and I'm all yours baby!
To make the whipped cream, open the can of
coconut milk and scoop out the top layer of solid
coconut cream into the
bowl of a stand mixer (sidenote: save the remaining
coconut liquid for
smoothies!).

Directions: Pour the acai
smoothie into a
bowl and top with granola, your favorite berries, banana and any superfoods (I love
coconut chips, bee pollen and goji berries).
Pour
smoothie into a
bowl and top with strawberries, kiwi, banana,
coconut flakes and macadamia nuts, as desired.
In this
smoothie bowl, I add frozen banana to frozen raspberries and
coconut milk for a dairy - free alternative to milk or yogurt.
What I like most about
smoothie bowls is they are topped with extra goodies like fruits, nuts, seeds,
coconut flakes, granola, etc..
I hated wasting it, so I started adding the
coconut water to
smoothies and
smoothie bowls in place of almond milk.
For breakfast serve with cold
coconut milk and bananas, or over a
smoothie bowl or sheep's milk yoghurt with fresh berries.

smoothie bowl toppings include other fruit or berries, nuts, granola,
coconut, cacoa nibs... literally, the possibilities are endless.
