I felt that the coconut was sweet enough for me that I didn't need to add an sugar to the recipes but feel free to use maple syrup, honey, or
coconut sugar if you have a stronger sweet tooth.

if your could get past their, slight nutty taste.
As for whether or not
coconut sugar is sustainable, it's up for you to decide
if it fits your personal standards of sustainability.
Only issues, one daughter hates
coconut, so I will disguise that and see
if she notices the taste and he doesn't like curry, so I will make alternatives and my other daughter misses her
sugar and chips.
