I will be trying this recipe without maple syrup as I think they can easily be made without — 30 ml contains about 15g of sugar which is equal to about 1.3 g of sugar per muffin, the dates contribute 7g of sugar, the
bananas provide just under 1.8 g sugar per muffin, the
coconut milk provides less
than a gram.
Rather
than digging into a piece of guilt - ridden cake or ice cream that's filled with refined sugar, try eating a sweet
banana with a little organic
coconut cream on top.
I used
coconut oil instead of olive, and only used less
than two teaspoons of it for the while
banana.
And this cocktail features
coconut water as well, which is packed with electrolytes and potassium (more in one cup

Even though the base is mainly
bananas and
coconut oil, those flavors seem to enhance the lemon flavor rather
than dominate it.
