coconut yogurt from All Against Grain's cookbook as I need the yogurt for baking and smoothies.
After trying to make
coconut yogurt from frozen coconut, I was also not impressed as it just had an off taste.

some Coconut yogurt from the Coconut Collaborative — I usually eat Co Yo, so it was good to try something different.

The sauce, of which there is plenty (I like a little chicken with my sauce), is built
from tomato and
yogurt (no
coconut milk this time) though I did accompany with a
coconut infused brown basmati (just add 1 Tbsp of
coconut oil to the rice while cooking, works like a charm), the boys love it too.
This Fruit Pizza has a delicious sugar - cookie - like crust that's made
from coconut flour, a pizza «sauce» that's not the traditional cream cheese, but a delicious
coconut milk
yogurt, and an abundance of fresh, ripe summer fruit.
Normally, I would rather get raw probiotics
from actual food like
coconut yogurt and raw sauerkraut!
My favorites were the (1) seeded black rice crackers (
from vegetarian chef Amy Chaplin) topped with a tamarind date sauce and pickled vegetables and (2) strawberry rosewater smoothie / chia pudding made with Anita's
coconut yogurt.
Probiotic - rich, they only have one gram of sugar, which comes naturally
from the
coconuts (compared to most
yogurts, which can have 12 grams or more).
This smoothie boasts tropical flavors

To top this cake I added a dollop of fat free plant based Greek

For breakfast one morning I had the best, thickest
coconut yogurt ever that I bought
from them.
I ended up using everything I could get
from three blood oranges, and threw that into a bowl with the almost half cup of juice, vanilla bean, Greek
yogurt,
coconut oil, sugar, and vanilla bean paste.

If there's anything like a Whole Foods, PCC, or other natural stores in your area then that would be the best place to look for unsweetened non-dairy
yogurt (usually made
from almond,
coconut or soy milk).

For single specialized recipes (like Tiramisu and Super Greens), you'll need ingredients like rum, matcha powder, etc. - For the protein bars toppings / frostings, you'll need Greek
yogurt, Neufchâtel cream cheese,
coconut oil, various nuts and seeds, caramel sauce (I used Date Lady ® Organic Caramel Sauce throughout the book because it's made
from dates instead of sugar), 100 % fruit spread, ground flaxseed meal, shredded
coconut, quick cooking oats and quinoa flakes.
Melt the
coconut oil and then pour into the bowl, whisking the
yogurt mixture as you pour in the
coconut oil (to prevent the
coconut oil
from solidifying in the colder ingredients.)
On that note,
yogurt is best with this, but apart
from coconut I haven't found a type I really like.
There are many brands of dairy - free
yogurt currently on the market, including ones made
from coconut milk, nuts, oats, soy, and rice.
This Lemon Poppyseed Bread is not only packed with nutrient goodness
from the chia seeds, but is made with white whole wheat flour,
coconut oil, greek
yogurt, and natural sugar cane to make this a guilt free option for breakfast.

yogurt alternatives are made
from coconut milk and are a great option for kids (and adults!)
Here's a simple, basic stew of potatoes and lentils that gets its kick
from a cool
coconut yogurt dressing that's passed around for topping.
My best guess is that the crust was either
from too much gelatin, or (more likely)
from the
coconut oil on top of the
yogurt hardening in the cold fridge.
I am I did read in your directions that
Coconut milk
from a Tetra pack will not make good
yogurt but with that much starch one would think it would be thicker than water.
Try it without gelatin, but also try it with a lower - oil
coconut milk
from the store, or let your homemade
coconut milk sit for a while, and then skim some of the oil off yourself before using it for
yogurt.
