Not coincidentally, the two films at The Charles, Ida and The Rover, are the better films, with intentional ellipses, while the two more mainstream movies, Jersey Boys and
Think Like a Man Too, where the ellipses
often feel unintentional, fail, in many ways, to deliver
coherent stories.
All too
often, one sees simplistic IP litigation being commenced without any
thought having been given to the consequences, (eg, whether the right sued upon is valid or not; or whether by seeking clarification of the other side's case one is prompting them to formulate a more cogent and
coherent case that can not be rebutted).
