I absolutely love everything about
Fall, the change in
colder weather (when it eventually happens in SoCal since we're still experiencing 90 degree
temp.
My body
temps went up, my hair stopped
falling out, I wasn't
cold all the time (my husband laughs that I'm the one kicking the covers off in bed now in the middle of winter), I have sustained energy most of the day, and I enjoy life more overall.
Because I know we'll get our
fall temps when up north is facing a bitterly

fall / winter in Houston but could also work in
colder temps over this sweater with these boots.
I'm from the frigid north and when bloggers start promoting
fall clothes in July, it's upsetting to us northerners because we've only had one month of warm weather so far and just want to live in the moment and enjoy it before
colder temps return for 9 months again.
For comparison, the 6 ″ hit at around the ankle and are great for
Fall and everyday wear; the 8 ″ cover more leg (and I think are more suitable for
colder temps); and the 10 ″ hit at lower mid-calf (are 100 % Winter - ready and look adorable laced up only about halfway.)
Heads up this
cold shoulder sweatshirt is lined with fleece so this is one to save for
fall temps (or if your bf likes to blast the ac...) I sized up to a M in this cowl neck pullover for a roomier fit so I can wear it off the shoulder or just on one.

fall like they have been the past 18 months... we are in Serious trouble as we will quickly dip BELOW the 100 year averages into

fall, just not looking forward to the winter of

I would love to have them because the
fall fever is going to hit when a
cold front comes through Dallas Saturday morning and the
temps drop from 104 to 82!!
