Grilled wild salmon, grilled vegetables like peppers and onions Steamed
shrimp, steamed artichokes Savory roast chicken, baked sweet potato, peas In summer, steamed crabs... maybe a little
cold salad (spinach and romaine, avocado, etc.)... not much is needed with steamed crabs I am going to be rereading this post time and time again... it really speaks to me.
(Psssst... I even eat leftovers
cold, right out of the fridge, almost like a
shrimp pasta
salad.
With a pleasant lemony tang punctuated by the occasional sharpness of the olives and anchovies, the
shrimp are great alone as a
cold salad or antipasto.
Spring and summer gatherings, however, are more apt to feature
cold salads,
shrimp and chicken skewers, and lots of stone fruit, berries, and watermelon.
We walk along the sea and have lunch in a beach restaurant, with delicious garlic
shrimps, fries, a
salad and two ice -
cold beers.
