This environmental watering event is a
collaborative effort between the Commonwealth Environment Water Office, Murray - Darling Wetlands
Working Group, Tar - Ru Lands Board of Management, Local Land Services Western Region, NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, NSW Department of Primary Industries Water, Moorna
Station, SA Water and The Nature Conservancy.
The data could be displayed or printed for individual revision; delivered via overhead projector to promote whole class or group critical thinking, discussion and communication; set out on
work stations around the classroom for
working as
collaborative groups or pairs; referred to as part of a cross curricular investigation; set as a project to help enhance creativity or as a match up game.
In his classroom, Joshua has three skill - equivalent cohorts of students rotating through four different
stations: • self - paced online
work on the LMS Blendspace, • independent reading, •
collaborative project - based learning, and • small group instruction.
An entire class can participate in a computer lab setting;
collaborative groups can
work together at a single
work station; or individual students can progress at their own pace on supplementary material.
Curriculum such as Readers» and Writers» Workshop and CGI Math provide
collaborative opportunities for small groups to
work directly with the teacher, while other students
work on laptops or at
stations.
It offers a
collaborative and inspiring
working environment situated only a minute walk from Stoke Newington
station at the start of Belfast Rd.. The space is a beautifully refurbished Victorian warehouse with high ceilings, lots of natural light and a spacious open plan
work area.
The exhibition's logic incorporates that of the nomadic cultural incubator, cross-continental happening, and moving earthwork
Station to
Station, 2013, which, like so many of Aitken's
works, embraced a
collaborative spirit beyond disciplines and beyond walls to reimagine the nature of what a
work of art can be, of what an art experience can do.

works from the exhibition in
