I used woven seagrass placemats from World Market,
white plates from Kohl's, blue striped napkins from World Market, and mismatched silverware that I've
collected over the years from various estate sales.
No need for fancy china, I
collect lots of
white plates from discount stores like HomeGoods and TJ Maxx.
I've always
collected mostly
white, with the exception of some colorful mugs and salad or dessert sized
plates.
I did not want the cabinet doors on there anymore because I wanted more of the space to be open to display all the

plates (pumpkin motif) and several crystal salad & dessert
plates that can be mixed and matched with either set of dishes.
Just wanted to tell you... you inspired me so much with the first photo on here (the round mirror,
white plates) that last night when I went home I redesigned the display on my buffet table — using a few beautiful pure
white pieces and a black iron
plate holder I have
collected but not known what to do with.
