After graduating high school, with a growing passion for
photography and cars, I began to really concentrate on my imagery, using up the
photography program at my local junior
college.
Moving fluidly between the studio and the street, Cypis» career covers a varied landscape: performance,
photography, and immersive media installation; curriculum development and teaching at
colleges and universities; civic
programs that engage conflict in order to build capacity for generative relations.
She received her BFA in
photography from Bard
College, and completed the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study
Program in Studio Art while also completing a two - year actor training conservatory with The Maggie Flanigan Studio.
