I too also hope for
color, so I really don't see myself
getting a Kindle or
ereader till the manga companies fully support, ie making available their ENTIRE available libraries.
I'd say at this point what you've
got with the Kobo Vox is an
eReader that's suitable for
color PDFs.
I want this but i purchased the last oasis a few months ago and it was stated that we will have an update to
get audiobooks as well so I may wait a year or two or wait for a
color ereader.
If you are looking for something like the iPad that can be used for
ereading as well as a multitude of other things, you are not going to
get that with the Nook
Color off the shelf.
It's not a very good device but this is about as cheap as it
gets for a 7 ″

While Nook
Color by itself is a really nice
eReader, it will really shine once you
get CyanogenMod 7 to run on it and convert it into a full featured tablet.

eReader, let's hope that they take it seriously and make it a serious product rather than just jumping to

Color I have to say it offers outstanding value for money.

eReader failed to generate the same traction its bigger and better brothers
got (the truth is, Kindle 3 and Nook / Nook

Color also proved to be a wildly successful device for tis capabilities as an Android tablet on the cheap.
