color feel unwelcome in everyday situations, especially when masculinity and a benign sense of cultural imperialism comes into play.
The shape of the room, the
color of its walls, even the placement of the furniture can encourage us to
feel welcome or
unwelcome, to seek people or to avoid people, to be open to new ideas or to be suspicious of them.
