Every year, I devour all the
paint color forecasts from the paint manufacturers for the coming year and highlight the best colors and identify color trends for the year.
Some of you may remember that last January, I shared a palette of my favorite colors from the 2014
color forecasts from the paint companies on Remodelaholic here.

If the Pantone
color forecast indicates what colors are trending each season, then fashion designers clearly have a head of their own.
There has been a lot more conversation
about color forecasting and Pantone's Color of the Year in the media this year than I remember from years past.

in color forecasts suggested for better living with fragmented foreclosed housing forms.
Instead of the cool blues, grays, and whites popular in 2015, the 2016
color forecasts show a slight shift into warmer blues, greens, grays, and creamy whites.
So when I was looking at the
paint color forecast for 2014, I loved Valspar's «Zenergy» palette, especially Winter in Paris.

a color forecasting perspective, we have chosen PANTONE 18 - 3943 Blue Iris as the color of the year, as it best represents color direction in 2008 for fashion, cosmetics and home products,» explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute ®.

Along with Simply White and Alabaster, other white paint
colors forecasted to popular in the coming year include Behr Ivory Keys and Benjamin Moore Paper White.
