Essentially, a core skills section is a
bullet pointed list split over 2
columns which highlight your most important skills and knowledge for the roles you are applying for.
You should use
bullet points to
list off skills, as is the case with a beauty and spa resume sample, and you can also put your skills in two
columns to save space.
When you use
bullet point format for your
lists, you will want about four to eight
points per
column with up to two
columns with Highlights and Skills sections.
Check the manager resume samples you've already identified for formatting suggestions, but in general, you'll want to use
bullet points or
columns to
list the items in this section.
It's also a good idea to follow your profile with a core skills section — a
