The
format of actual posts has changed much like the
format of the personal
pages: they are now split into two
columns in a timeline
format.

Little wonder Sony shows a Matlab UM doc, typically printed in bold 12 - type single
column — this wasteful Matlab
format is far from the reality of complex papers or 2 -
page unfolds in magazines (layouts with 2 x 3 -
columns and centre-fold images).
There aren't any zooming or cropping features and landscape mode inexplicably shows the entire
page but only on half the screen, so the app is pretty much only useful for PDF reflow, which works well for PDFs that are text only with no images,
columns, or complex
formatting.
On the plus side,
page navigation is pretty good, with a scrollable thumbnail view of the
pages along the bottom that pops up when you use it, and the «article reader» mode, which
formats the text of an individual article into a single, easily - readable
column with adjustable text, is a must - have feature.
Readability is a «bookmarklet,» a little piece of code you save as a browser bookmark and that takes annoyingly -
formatted articles that are split into 4
pages (I'm looking at you, Gatorsports.com) and
formats them into a single, easy - to - read, black - text - on - white
page, removing annoying side
columns and flashing ads.
The documents I tested were two
column format with footnotes at the bottom of each
page.
When you open your book, you will find a single -
column reading view in landscape mode, which I prefer to the two -
column or «
page»
format that most of the other apps employ.
This is done by creating an HTML file that includes only the cover image, sometimes with special
formatting to allow it to display without margins and without the
page being broken into
columns.

The front
page «reverts» to a two -
column, reverse - chronological

format 2016 to use if you would like to organize your resume for a specific position, and speaking of organization, you can just limit your resume to one or two
pages (the longest).
